It joins the 2017 Subaru Impreza sedan that was also unveiled at the annual auto show. The new Subaru Global Platform significantly enhances safety, ride comfort, and agility. The all-new 2017 Subaru Impreza 5-Door will be available in four trim levels: base, Premium, Sport, and Limited. The new design creates an athletic stance to go along with its signature hexagonal grille and hawk-eye headlights. The dramatic style choices continue in the cabin with a flowing design that matches the front of the vehicle. It is about 1.6 inches long and 1.5 inches wider while also being close to a half-inch shorter. These dimensions combine to offer a roomier cabin, improved aerodynamics, and excellent all-around visibility.
It features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that generates 152 horsepower and features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a seven-speed manual mode function. It also features more safety features and crash protections than ever before with the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with adaptive cruise control, automatic pre-collision braking, and lane departure and sway warning, a lane keep function, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, automatic braking, and more! Available tech features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Near Field Communication connectivity to name a few.
