The 2020 model is the 7th generation, and it is slated to feature a sleek, fastback profile with new curve lines and offer all-wheel drive. The front and rear will both have LED lights, and a new grille will be stamped in the front. The new Subaru Legacy will also be built on the brand’s global modular architecture, which is the same structure at the Subaru Impreza and Subaru Ascent.
There will be an increase in features in the 2020 Subaru Legacy, including Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and the EyeSight® driver assistance system. Lane Keep Assist is a big asset in this model, as well as Lead Vehicle Start Alert. The latter feature alerts the driver when the car in front of them has moved in traffic.
The engine in the 2020 Subaru Legacy will most likely be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 2.4-liter turbo worth 260 horsepower.
This model is expected to be released late 2019.
