In our daily work here at Lester Glenn Subaru, we are always proud to represent an automaker that consistently seeks out ways to improve the lives of others. Sometimes those improvements come in the form of new vehicles like our full range of 2015 Subaru vehicles available today for Lakehurst drivers. At other times, we are eager to show our support for the automaker as it joins forces with philanthropic organizations that are also striving to achieve a greater good.
Today, we’re celebrating a collaboration between Subaru of America, Inc., and Meals on Wheels America that will see the development of a new online tool to facilitate volunteer-provided care for seniors in communities nationwide. Known as Meals on Wheels Online Volunteer Drive, the new tool comprises the latest step in the Subaru Loves To Help initiative and simplifies the process for volunteering through Meals on Wheels America. Community members who are interested in volunteering for the organization can use the website to locate opportunities in their own communities and lend a hand for seniors in need.
To provide further support for the initiative, Subaru retailers throughout the country will be hosting supplementary activities to provide greater awareness for the work of Meals on Wheels America.
